About me

Qualified Therapeutic Counsellor

Hello, I'm Renate. I'm an Integrative Counsellor and a Registered Member of the BACP. I started my journey to becoming a qualified counsellor when I realised how much counselling had helped me through my struggles.

I’ve worked with clients who identify as or have been diagnosed as neurodivergent and through my volunteer work and support work in the NHS I’ve gained a good understanding of the challenges neurodivergent clients face every day.

During my volunteer work for a crisis helpline I supported people who had reached a point in their lives where they felt their only choice was to end their lives. Working with you, I aim to create a relationship where you feel comfortable talking to me about what has brought you to reach out for help and support.

Alongside general counselling, I have experience of supporting clients dealing with grief, loss and bereavement having volunteered for a national bereavement charity.
